I raro i te maru o Tararua te maunga,
Ki te taha o te Waiohine te awa,
Kei Carterton toku kainga
I’m Lisa, originally grew up in Featherston and now live in Carterton with my husband Robbo and we are blessed with two beautiful tamariki, Onslow and Fern.
After gaining my Bachelor of early childhood degree in 2009 we ventured off to Margaret River in Western Australia for 5 years including a year travelling abroad. I continued teaching as well as experienced other occupations such as being a cave tour guide and hospitality.
My heart drew me back home to the Wairarapa where we have now settled in and can call this place our home. I am so fortunate to be a part of He Pounamu which is an amazing place to teach and watch children be children through play and imagination, a place where they can all unfold naturally and be themselves!
I look forward to sharing this adventure with you all and seeing all the tamariki learn and grow in our beautiful space in nature alongside Papatūānuku.
